Perhaps looking pro did not get them the job but at least it became them the interview! Most women also appreciate a person who knows the easy way to dress, it makes them feel a bit like their man is assured and accomplished. Perception is key in day by day activities and the way in which you dress has a big impact on it. We should all exploit this and ensure we look our best in our daily activities in case we have got a chance for that special promotion, in case we meet that special somebody, or just solely to feel and appear fantastic! Here's a list of pointers to help you and fashion mistakes to avoid! One. Socks should match your pants. Simple as one, two, three. Two. Belts should match your shoes. Not every one is color blind like you ;). Three. Never wear both a belt and suspenders. The combination makes you appear less assured - you gigantic wuss. Four. Ties should reach your belt line. This is just the rule. A short tie makes you seem like a dufus. Five. Correctly knotted ties have a "dimple" under the knot. Kind of like one of Mario Lopez's cheeks... Btw, Clips and tacks are outdated. Six. Your shoes should be clean, shined, corrected and acceptable for the occasion. If you're wearing a suit, wear lace-up shoes. Do not forget to keep shoetrees in your shoes when you are not wearing them. 7. Don't wear a short sleeve shirt together with a tie. In actual fact never wear a short sleeve shirt period. Folk have the understanding that short sleeve shirts are only worn by lower class folks. You can wear one if you'd like to be a McDonald's chief, not if you'd like to exude a professional look. Eight. The Button-Down collar dress shirt is just not acceptable for dressy formal wear nor with a double-breasted suit. Why? Well although it's now a business classic in the day, it was originally a sport shirt worn by polo players. 9. Wear the perfect size pants ok? Pants are long enough if they've a slight break in the front. Pants should have enough length to cover up your socks, and your socks should be long enough to cover your shins even if you are legs are crossed. Pleats and handcuffs both should be handled with respect. Pleats let you walk nicely while looking pro and help a larger man look great while handcuffs will add weight to the bottoms of your pants often giving them the ideal drape. Ten. Socks with Sandals. Even if you live in Maine, do not do it - you will look like a schmuck. Eleven. Corpulent Shoes. Lose them, the Axel Rose age is over. Twelve. Backpacks. Alright, perhaps this is merely a minor mistake, but you are attempting to climb the company ladder, not hike up mount everest. Thirteen. Clashing or too many colours. Do you need to seem like a gay pride flag? Stick to complementary colours (those opposite from one another on the color wheel) or colours from the same pallet. You can find one online awfully simply by searching on google! Fourteen. Ponytails. You are not the rock star of your office. Spend the 20$ for a hair cut, you are able to afford it. Fifteen. Too much jewellery. If you would like to wear jewellery, select a sophisticated pair of designer cufflinks. Sixteen. Comb-over’s. These roar insecurity. Shave it, lose it or cover it.
